Epic Online Success

Epic Fireworks wished to increase sales and promote the company by adding e-commerce functionality to their existing website. This was to include product descriptions, shopping cart functionality and embedded video files - all managed by a CMS (Content Management System) to allow Epic staff to easily manage the site. Leap Frog, the web division of Sandford Technology, successfully delivered the new functionality and combined this with intelligent design and navigation to ensure the buying process was as simple as possible. The new website has had an immediate positive impact on sales and has both reduced administration and improved the sales process.
"Creating our e-commerce website with Leap-Frog has been an enjoyable and rewarding process, I have already recommended their services to several clients".
Paul Singh, Epic Fireworks, Director

Web project aids Adoption Consortium efforts

The Yorkshire Adoption Consortium brings together 17 adoption agencies in the region and the aim is to increase the possibilities for matching children with families in the region for adoption.
The new website was developed by Leap Frog, the web solutions division of Sandford Technology, in a truly collaborative project.
“By consistently sharing the details of approved adopters and children waiting for new adoptive families amongst our members, we avoid delays in matching children with families. This increased choice gives greater matching potential and more opportunities to keep children within the Yorkshire region. We need more adoptive families who can meet the needs of black, Asian and mixed heritage children and groups of brothers and sisters. We aim to recruit, approve and support adoptive families through out the region and are unique in that we provide specific Asian preparation Training in Asian Community Languages for adopters within the region.
The development of this website is just one of the ways in which we hope to meet these challenges.“
Mandy Prout, Yorkshire Consortium Chair
“The Yorkshire Consortium are really pleased with the new website which has been designed by a small group of its members alongside the staff at Leap Frog. We really enjoyed working with the team at Leap Frog who made the process of putting together the website seem very easy.
The members really appreciate it and hopefully it will benefit everyone, especially in the recruitment of adopters. The CMS is user friendly, making it very easy to update the site, make amendments and add new pages when needed. It has been a pleasure to work along side Leap Frog.”

New Interactive Map for the Cotswolds AONB Website
Leap Frog has developed a mapping engine which is used to power a new interactive map for the Cotswolds AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) website. The map utilises Ordnance Survey maps for the geographical area covered by the AONB and then overlays Points of Interest (POI) data. Users can turn layers of attraction information on and off, roll-over individual icons to view more detail on a particular attraction and can navigate around the map using the on-screen tools. Staff at Cotswolds AONB have the ability within their Content Management System to import POI updates on a quarterly basis, add/edit POI data and create new Points of Interest.
